What is the Thomas Jefferson High School Centennial?

The current Thomas Jefferson High School was opened in 1916. More than a year ago a group of alumni and volunteers started planning a series of events to celebrate 100 years of our school's history, community, and contributions to Los Angeles and California.

Since it opened in 1916, Thomas Jefferson High School has produced some of the greatest athletes, academics, artists, entertainers, scientists, social activists, statesmen, and scholars of any high school in the country. With such a rich history, imagine what we can accomplish in the next 100 years!
